Who are you?
You like variety and change does not scare you
As a member of a small team in a startup, you will focus on your core competencies, but your role will not be strictly defined.
The thought of constant change and your responsibilities being fluid excites you.
You are an independent worker
We will give you high-level guidance about what we want from you, but we expect you to be able to fill in the details of the task yourself. Your responsibilities will vary widely including daily operational setup and breakdown, vehicle safety inspection, operation of the drones, setup and conduct of flight tests, feedback to the rest of the engineering team regarding system improvements.
You should be able to independently break down tasks to bite-size chunks and plot a course to work your way to completing a high-level task.
You are motivated and know how to structure your work in a way that you keep progressing.
You are pragmatic more than perfectionist
You will be part of a startup, which means that moving fast, being efficient and delivering value is more important than perfection. You know where to compromise in the name of getting stuff done without compromising safety. You know how to deliver quality without getting stuck dotting the i's.
You know how to differentiate between what delivers value and what is nice-to-have.
You are a good communicator
Technical skills don't mean anything if we can't explain what we want and you can't ask the right questions. We will need you to ask questions to gather the information you need to do your work.
You like to work in a small team
Working in a small team, we would like everybody to feel involved. Working in a team also means willingness to exchange ideas and be open for feedback and critique. Additionally, you are willing to help with everything from cleaning the office to carrying drones and moving vehicles.
You like to learn
Ideally we want to hire somebody who has all the right skills to hit the ground running.
As an engineer at Aerit, the learning never stops. There are always new techniques to explore, procedures to improve, and problems that require digging and learning to solve.
Being eager to learn is a hard requirement.
We offer
- A varied job in a pioneering domain as an early member of a VC backed startup
- A competitive salary
- A generous employee stock option plan
- Conveniently located office spaces: Aerit’s development facilities, testing location, and offices are located in the up and coming Frihamnen area 1.5km from Gardet and 2km from Karlaplan metro stop
- Flexible working hours and locations
Why you should join Aerit
The drone community is a relatively young space with a lot of room for growth in the future. As part of the Aerit team you will be joining the first drone delivery company in Sweden and one of the European pioneers. You will have a chance to play a significant role in the drone delivery community and shape the future of Aerit and the greater autonomous delivery space as we grow. Additionally, you will be directly engaging in the fight against global warming and for increased sustainability.
